Key Changes in the Recognition Process
Proof of Residency No Longer Required: Previously, applicants had to submit an Entry and Exit report as proof of their residency in the country of study. This requirement has now been streamlined, making the process more efficient for degrees obtained outside the UAE.
No Need for Previous Qualification Verification for Master’s and PhD Applications: MOHESR has enhanced the recognition process by refining qualification verification requirements for Master’s and PhD applications. This adjustment means that applicants can proceed with postgraduate degree recognition without additional verification of their Bachelor’s degree. If you wish to verify your Bachelor’s degree, this can be verified optionally, which is highly recommended for future hiring.
Changes in Examination Location Requirements: Students who have taken their examinations in PRC Philippines will benefit from a more straightforward process, as specific location-based verification requirements have been simplified.
Examination Location Requirements Adjustments: MOHESR has made modifications to the verification requirements based on examination locations, simplifying the recognition process for certain applicants.
(PRC) Philippines Certificate of Verification: The Certificate of Verification issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will no longer be required.
Recognition from Country of Study: Previously, applicants who studied at private higher education institutions in Lebanon and Egypt were required to obtain an equivalency from the country of study before applying for MOHESR recognition. This step is no longer required, as MOHESR now enables recognition for degrees from these countries. This change streamlines the process while maintaining the necessary academic verification measures.
